Trainers App: How to Create A Poll

How to Create a Poll:

1. Tap on More at the bottom of the screen → select Racing
2. Scroll down to the Events section → tap on Polls
3. You will see a list of previously created polls.

• Tap on any poll to view or edit it (Note: You won’t be able to edit a poll once it is live).
• To create a new poll, tap the plus (+) icon at the top right corner. 

4. Fill in all required fields, including: Question, Options, Poll end date, Feature image (Fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory)

5. Scroll to the bottom to toggle additional settings on or off if needed.

6. Tap Save.

How to Send a Poll:

1. Return to the Compose Update screen by tapping Updates at the bottom of the screen → then tap the plus (+) icon at the top right.

2. Choose Attach Poll, then select the poll you previously created. You can also add text, images, or videos, just like when sending a report.

3. Choose a Send Type, then tap Send. Note that once sent, the poll cannot be edited.

How to Track Poll Status:

1. Go back to the Polls screen by tapping More → Polls
2. Tap on the poll you want to track

3. You can view:

• Overview tab for general poll details
• History tab to see which owners have voted

What Owners See (in the Owners App):

Owners will receive the poll via their app, where they can view the question, select an option, and submit their response. They can only vote once, and results may be visible depending on the poll settings chosen by the trainer.
