Adding MiStable Emails To Hotmail Whitelist for iPhones

Hotmail does have strong security around it so if you have a hotmail address it's advised that you make the below changes to your settings to enable the notifications to be received.

Please find below the steps to login into your Hotmail account to access your security settings.

FYI Hotmail is now operating as Outlook

Click on the link below to access the login page in Safari on your iPhone5.

Use your email address and your password (if you can't remember this, click on "Can't Access My Account", and "Forgotten Password" - you will have to reset your password.

Once you are logged into Outlook, you will need to add the From address you want to receive mailings from to your Outlook Safe List. The steps are below:-

1.Open your mailbox go to the Settings icon and click (upper right hand corner - the icon to the left of your name), then go to “Options” .

2.Under the heading “Preventing Junk Email”, go to "Safe and Blocked Senders".

3.Select the “Safe Senders" link.

4.Copy and paste From email address you want to receive mailings from into the dialog box titled “Sender or domain to mark as safe”.

5.Click the “Add to list” button next to the dialog box.

You should also check that the mailing's email address is not in your Blocked Senders list. You can find your Blocked Senders list by following directions above and going to "Blocked Senders List" instead of "Safe Senders". If you see the mailing's from address on this list, select it and click the "Remove from list" button.
